vaas at a glance.

what sparked the vision.

In an ancient story, a debt burdened widow sold all her possessions to repay her debts, left with only a small pitcher of oil, her last possession.

Seeking guidance on how to repay her dept, and gather income to sustain her and her sons, she sought a wise man who instructed her to go to her neighbors, and borrow as many empty vessels as she could, and to fill her house with them. The wise man then instructed her to take that pitcher of oil, close the door behind her, because apparently miracles like to work in secret, and begin pouring into the empty vessels she had prepared. With unwavering faith, she poured the oil into these vessels, and a miracle unfolded before her eyes!

The oil flowed abundantly, filling each prepared vessel to the brim. When she filled the last vessel, and asked her son for another, he said “there are no more vessels”, and immediately the oil stopped flowing, and the miracle stopped.

The oil only flowed long enough to fill vessels prepared to store its wealth.

Because she faithfully gathered these empty vessels and prepared them as instructed, the widow was able to sell the oil, pay her debts in full and secure a future for her and her sons without financial worry.

This resonant story became the very heartbeat of vaas, the catalyst for our own transformation, and it is what prompted us to reimagine everything! We reimagined our role as potters, artisans shaping vessels with purpose, vessels that could hold the wealth of nations. The word "vaas," meaning vessel in Dutch, is the essence of our identity, rich with symbolism and purpose. We design and shape organizations, nurturing their identity towards #purposefulwork, and fostering their transformation into worthy vessels that store the wealth of nations.
